Currie & Brown has been awarded Platinum Membership of , meaning that at least 5% of our UK-based colleagues are apprentices, graduates or on formal training schemes. The accreditation highlights our dedication to creating fulfilling careers in construction, developing and investing in the next generation and addressing skills gaps. 聽
We were also recently awarded 鈥楤est Large Organisation鈥 in the 鈥楤readth鈥 category at The 5% Club鈥檚 prestigious Earn and Learn Awards. With over 200 accredited employers in the running, this award recognises our commitment to supporting apprentices, graduates and career changers by offering training and career development opportunities.聽
Creating structured career paths聽
We are committed to developing inclusive recruitment processes and career pathways that that enable a diverse range of candidates to enter and thrive in the construction industry. These include 鈥榚arn and learn鈥 opportunities such as apprenticeships that enable colleagues to learn important theory while putting this into practice on landmark construction projects.聽
We have also created structured career paths through our full-time apprenticeship and graduate programmes. Currently we have 125 colleagues on the Assessment of Professional Competence programme (APC) and 23 trainees on apprenticeship programmes. This is almost a fifth (18%) of our UK and Europe colleagues. 聽
